Nestled in the Kolubara River valley, Valjevo is considered one of the oldest settlements in the country. Here, on the left bank of the Kolubara River, lies one of the most beautiful senior care facilities in Serbia. In truth, we are not just a facility—we are a peaceful sanctuary filled with warmth and tranquility.
In this serene environment, our residents have the freedom to choose how they spend their days—whether it’s through group or individual activities, leisurely walks, or simply enjoying tea or coffee on a bench, with a book in hand…
We promote active aging, or “longevity”! This approach emphasizes the importance of physical, mental, and social health throughout the aging process. The goal is to enable older adults to remain active, healthy, and engaged in society for as long as possible. The key aspects of active aging include: physical activity, mental stimulation, healthy nutrition, social inclusion, prevention, and medical care.
Weekly activities play a vital role in engaging residents and fostering a sense of belonging and community. According to the interests and needs of our residents, we organize a variety of recreational and educational activities—from music, sports, and reading to social games—which are part of everyday life. Additionally, birthday celebrations, festivals, and organized excursions allow residents’ relatives to regularly participate in their loved ones’ lives.
With great respect, love, care, and warmth, our team is devoted to the wishes and needs of our residents—both in providing care and meeting organizational requirements. Our core principles are:
High-quality, human-centered, and reliable care is not a coincidence. With the help of our quality management system, based on the DIN ISO 9001 standard, we ensure that all our staff provide care to our clients at the same high level of quality. This system allows for continuous monitoring and improvement of our services, guaranteeing a consistent and high standard of care.
In regular meetings across all departments, we coordinate a unified approach and, through modern organizational practices, ensure high-quality care for our residents.
All our staff work according to the same organizational standards, adapted to the latest advancements and the highest level of modern training.
All of our employees are trained in first aid, emergency response, and occupational health and safety. Staff in the care department, managers, social workers, and those in accounting positions are trained according to relevant materials in their field of work and aligned with international standards. We achieve this through our European partners and mentors from Berlin.
By implementing a structured model, the quality of care and documentation from responsible nurses are checked at appropriate intervals, depending on the health condition of our residents.
All received complaints will be promptly reviewed and resolved in collaboration with all involved parties. We are open to feedback, whether critical or complimentary, as this provides us with valuable suggestions for further improving our services.
Dom za stare Kolubara OMNI Premium omogućuje svakodnevnu edukaciju zdravstvenih radnika, negovatelja i saradnika. Naši mentori iz Nemačke su implementirali evropski pristup poslovanja. Svi zaposleni su obučeni od strane konsultanata iz Berlina kako bismo postigli najviši nivo kvaliteta usluge koju pružamo našim korisnicima.
Takođe, sva oprema koja se koristi u svrhu obuke zaposlenih prilagođena je najsavremenijim evropskim standardima uključujući medicinske krevete nemačkog proizvođača koji su jedinstveni na našem tržištu.
Eva Maria Rothe, poslovni konsultant iz Berlina, angažovana je na projektu Dom za stare „Kolubara OMNI Premium.“
Gospođa Eva je zadužena za obuku i trening zaposlenih. Tim našeg doma radi po nemačkim standardima i primenjuje nemački koncept po kojem funkcionišu domovi širom Nemačke. Inače, gospođa Eva je predavač u Berlinu sa 40 godina radnog iskustva. Njena najuža specijalnost je otvaranje domova za stare i priprema zaposlenih za rad sa osetljivom populacijom – osobama sa simptomima demencije i Alchajmerove bolesti.
